Cutest. Couple. Ever.

The male would leave the nest to collect sticks. He'd be gone for maybe two minutes. When he returns they act as though they've been apart for days! They "kiss" and fidget and when they finally get settled he flies off so they can do it all again.

Went out to Gatorland with a bunch of other flickrers this weekend. Not really my kind of place but you can't beat getting within feet of Great Egret nests!

A fabulous place to see and photograph shore birds... Ft Desoto Park.  If you're there at sunrise you'll see professional photographers out there with their fancy equipment - then you'll see us amateurs ;)  These are a few of my favorites :
